About the Founder

Sahin Ozsoy, PhD, is an Electrical Engineer, specializing in Algorithm Development, Digital Signal Processing, and software development for real-time, near real-time, and post-processing of multi-channel/multi-modal physiological and sensory data. He also holds a double-major BSc in Physics.

With over 24 years of experience in research, development, coding, and teaching, Sahin possesses a deep understanding of analytical problem-solving, embedded programming, hardware description, and software development.

For the first 17 years of his career, Sahin served in the defense industry, where he developed advanced electronic warfare software and hardware for the Turkish Navy and NATO. His work took him to the Turkish Navy Research Center in Istanbul and the NATO Seasparrow Project Office in Arlington, VA. In his final role, he led the Electronics and Weapons Department at the Turkish Navy Headquarters, retiring in 2018 as a Navy Commander (Engineer).

Since transitioning from the Navy, Sahin has focused on advancing neuroscience research through the development of specialized software and hardware. His goal is to support experts in the field by providing tools that enhance human cognition and aid in treating neurological disorders in both children and adults.
